Intel macht Mobile Pentium 4 günstiger
Der Mobile Pentium 4 kommt als so genannte Desktop-Replacement-CPU in Mainstream-Notebooks zum Einsatz und verfügt nicht über die Speed-Step-Funktionen zum Strom sparenden Betrieb wie etwa der Mobile Pentium 4 Processor-M.
Auf dem Northwood-Core basierend und mit 512 KByte L2-Cache in 130-Nanometer-Technologie gefertigt, kostet das Modell mit 3,2 GHz und Hyper-Threading-Support (HT) ab sofort 294 US-Dollar (vorher 433 US-Dollar). Die Preise sind für den Großhandel und auf die Abnahme von tausend Stück bezogen.
